People Magazine reports that family was the backbone of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s wedding day. Shelton even had a special chapel built in the backyard of his Oklahoma home for the purpose of marrying his bride in privacy with only a small number of their close friends and family members there to celebrate the big day. “Their shared faith is very important. Having the wedding at home was a way for their families — and Gwen — to be as comfortable as possible. Blake wanted the day to be perfect for Gwen. His love for her is so deep,” a source told the outlet of the couple’s choice to marry at their home.
